Hotel Options
Hotel Sahara
This is the most affordable hotel we work with. Hotel Sahara is located about 1.4 km from the Gulmarg Gondola. The hotel is pretty basic. The lobby and hallways are not heated. Your room is headed with a gas heater that needs to be turned off at night. You also get an electric blanket to stay worm at night. You have a decent private bathroom with hot water (hot water is available when Gulmarg as electricity). The restaurant serves excellent affordable food.
Great atmosphere! The Global Hotel & Restaurant is located about 1 km from the Gulmarg Gondola and offers stunning views of Mt. Apharwat. It’s a friendly spot with a beautiful lounge where guests gather to relax and enjoy the après-ski. Rooms are small but comfortable, ideal for one person or a close pair, with in-suite bathrooms. The hotel serves good, simple food, and the vibe is always warm and social—perfect for unwinding after a day on the mountain.
Arrival Day: Airport transfers to Gulmarg, Gear pickup (if required), hotel check-in, first meeting with your guide. Free time to discover and enjoy Gulmarg.
Ski Days: Meet your guide early, Ski the Himalayas all day, lunch break on the mountain. We recommend a fully guided package. If you book a partly guided package, it includes a minimum of 3 guided ski day. After your third ski day, you will ski Gulmarg on your own. Please be very safe & respect the mountain.
Last ski Day: After skiing the Himalayas for this trip's last day, make sure to return any rental gear. If you are not going on the optional classic houseboat, enjoy a nice meal and take some time to reflect on this great trip. If you are going to the houseboat, your shuttle will pick you up around 4pm to travel to Dal Lake and enjoy some quality time and a warm meal.
Departure Day: Depart Gulmarg or Srinagar to Srinagar Airport. We will confirm your departure time based on your flight time.
