Hotel Rosewood
We highly recommend Hotel Rosewood. It is a beautiful place, rooms are spacious, service is great and food is delicious. The best part is their lounge, a superb place to relax after skiing the Himalayas. Sit on the patio and enjoy. They are located about 600 meters from the Gulmarg Gondola (via a small path) or 900 meters via the road. The hotel obviously has central heating, beautiful private bathroom and a generator in case of power cuts. They offer 3 room types: deluxe, deluxe balcony and Jacuzzi rooms. This package is for their jacuzzi rooms.
Hotel Highlands Park is an icon in Gulmarg. It is literally the centre of attraction in Gulmarg - one of Kashmir's premier tourist destinations. Their lounge is a great place to enjoy life after skiing all day. Rooms offer a unique blend of old fashioned comfort with modern amenities. It is the best luxury hotel in Gulmarg during winter. They are located 1.2km from the Gulmarg Gondola. The hotel obviously has central heating, beautiful private bathroom and a generator in case of power cuts.
Arrival Day: Airport transfers to Gulmarg, Gear pickup (if required), hotel check-in, first meeting with your guide. Free time to discover and enjoy Gulmarg.
Ski Days: Meet your guide early, Ski the Himalayas all day, lunch break on the mountain. We recommend a fully guided package. If you book a partly guided package, it includes a minimum of 3 guided ski day. After your third ski day, you will ski Gulmarg on your own. Please be very safe & respect the mountain.
Last ski Day: After skiing the Himalayas for this trip's last day, make sure to return any rental gear. If you are not going on the optional classic houseboat, enjoy a nice meal and take some time to reflect on this great trip. If you are going to the houseboat, your shuttle will pick you up around 4pm to travel to Dal Lake and enjoy some quality time and a warm meal.
